It is hard being 13.  They all had matching hats, and I wanted a picture!  The only way that I could get it was their backs…LoL

Aaron thinking that he is a "shoe" model!  I was teasing him that he has big feet, and he did this lil model thing.  By the way, my "baby" just turned 13 and has a size 11 shoe!  This is just one of the pairs he got for school. 

Aaron showing off his new shirt.  We had our open house/kick off party last Sunday for CRASH!  CRASH is our Middle School youth church services.  As you can tell, I am getting the, "MOM!  I don’t want my picture taken" look…Oh Well..I am the Mom and I WILL take pictures!

Until We Blog Again…

Well, I did survive the crazy weekend!  We survived the heart catherization on Monday, with only minor blockages.  Saturday, I got Becky to the airport on time, even though it was a close one.  I got very overwhelmed at my board meeting on Saturday.  I am so out of the loop, and have a lot to do before the summer is over. 

I am trying to adjust to the new meds the doctor put me on on Friday.  There is one that is making me so nauseous!  It really sucks!  I have been living on Ritz crackers…You would think that I was pregnant!  NOT!!!

The doctor actually put me on some new meds that I have never heard of.  I was given some samples, and when I went to the pharmacy to fill the others, I got some patient handouts from the pharmacist.  Three of the new ones can have nausea as a side effect….Oh Joy!!  I am hoping that after a week of taking them, my belly will adjust, and I can leave the Ritz alone.  *crossin’ my fingers*

I spent all day yesterday trying to catch up…and finally I have found my way back to my own blog. 

It was very hot here today, and I tried to get last minute lists and such done for the 4th of July.  This afternoon we went to the store and got the finishing touches of what I needed.  I will spend tomorrow cooking and getting things done and finished up.  We are staying close to home this year, as we are preparing for our trip to Colorado, and Brad has to be at work the day after at 4am. 

Aaron and I are going to make a Red, White & Blue cake tomorrow!  That should be fun!  It is only supposed to be about 75 tomorrow, so it should not be too bad in my house with the baking of the cake and some pasta salads that I am going to throw together. 

We also have Miss Hailey tomorrow! I miss my lil Bug-lette!  We did not have her on Monday since we were at the hospital with Brad’s mom.  Hopefully next week I can have her the two days I am supposed to!  She is such a cutie pie!!  I just love her to pieces!  But I have to admit, I am very happy when she goes home! 

Sometimes I wish I had a supercharger button!  Just plug me in, and recharge me to go some more…LoL  Since I don’t have that special button,  I better get something done before I head to bed!
