We all know that teenagers may have blemishes, or have a bout with acne, but why “hide” that with air-brushing.  I mean if I think about it, I want Aaron’s 8th grade picture to remind me of what he “looked” like in 8th grade, even if that includes a zit or two. 

Aaron was lucky that on his day of pictures, his face was nice and clear. 

So, my question to you is “to air-brush, or not to air-brush”?

Sunday we were at Wal-Mart and I went down the baking aisle just to see what they had.  I found this square baking dish, that was deep enough for lasagna and it had handles.  Really?  Did I just find the "perfect" lasagna pan for my family?  I was pretty dang ecstatic. 

I immediately went to the other side of the store to get the ingredients I would need to make a lasagna.  Monday morning I got up and made the sauce and let it simmer all day, until it was time to put the dish together.   I got it all together and baked it, and this is what it came out looking like!  YUMMY!   

So, needless to say, I am happy that I decided to go down the aisle at Wal-Mart and my family is happy that they will get lasagna a lil more often.

Luckily for me, when I asked her to order some, she said that she already had some in stock, and I would get it the next time I saw her.  I was so dang excited! 

The other night I got Bella, (and some chocolates too), and I have been in heaven ever since.  It is really embarrassing to say that I liked the bottle first since it was PINK — but I am awfully impressed with the scent as well!

Who would have ever thought that I had to call three people when I saw that gas was that low?  I remember when it was going up, and we were all cringing at the $3.00 mark, and now I am THRILLED that it is under three.

It still hurt to fill up my car, but not as bad as it did.  I think it is just part of the budget now.  Sad to say! 

I don’t even want to think what it will be when Aaron starts to drive in three years.  We might need a job just to pay for his driving habits.

I so love to cook with my crock pot!  I also love the fact that Brad comes home and smells his dinner cooking, yet I can still sit and talk with him, instead of being in the kitchen!  The next best thing to my crock pot, my bread maker!  YUM!  I really do think that fall is here!

Let’s just take a brief look of my life the last month and a half:

• Brad’s Mom had gallbladder surgery
• day two was rushed by 911 to the ER and admitted
• was in the hospital for a week and then went to rehab to get stronger
• We went on vacation to Miami Beach and get caught in Tropical Storm Faye
• Aaron started 8th grade - a day late due to the weather delaying our travel plans
• Breakaway - Consecrated - Lincoln Boys Choir all start in full swing
• Miss Toni was brought to the hospital with internal bleeding
• after 10 units of blood and the fact that she was still loosing blood, they did major stomach surgery to see what the deal was
• they found three bleeding ulcers - not the best thing, but at least our "damn-cute" surgeon found em, and took care of em 
• She was in the hospital for a time, went home and then two days later I brought her back for shortness of breath.  UGH!
• found out that she had developed pneumonia 
• spent another week in the hospital
• During Miss Toni’s second hospital stay, I had to bring Brad to the ER for chest pains.
• after two days in the hospital and tons of tests, they say that he has "extremely" high blood pressure
• he is on meds, but they will be doing some outpatient testing to see if there is another reason for the high blood pressure
• we were told with his age, he should not have the kind of "numbers" he has 
• We spent a weekend doing "Scrap-Pink"
• a weekend of scrap-a-holics that scrap for a cause 
• Been trying to plan for our Christmas trip to Cancun
• Aaron and Brad have been to two Husker games this season
• Brad and I have been to one Husker game this season
• I have been working with Miss Becky, Gail, Miss Laurel and now a new client, George.  They have been keeping me super busy! 

I think that is what I have been doing.  I have lots of pictures to come, and I have a list of "Song of the Moment"s to share!  I have TONS of favorite songs right now! 

I have a lot more to say, so I am going to change the laundry and get some more water and  I will be back!
