My Newest Obsession…Posted on October 8th, 2008 @ 7:55 pm
My friend Teresa sells Mary Kay and sends me a catalog whenever they come out. I was browsing through the latest one and a pink bottle grabbed my attention. It was a "Signature Scent" called BELLA. I immediately asked for a sample and fell in love! I swear when I was in bed that night, I found myself smelling my arm for no apparent reason.
Luckily for me, when I asked her to order some, she said that she already had some in stock, and I would get it the next time I saw her. I was so dang excited!
The other night I got Bella, (and some chocolates too), and I have been in heaven ever since. It is really embarrassing to say that I liked the bottle first since it was PINK — but I am awfully impressed with the scent as well!
This is the description from the site: The exuberant floral fruity perfume captivates immediately. The senses are first treated to a delectable medley of apricot and red nectarine. At the heart of this women’s perfume, dew-covered rose petals and Moroccan jasmine unfold, while a delightful mix of creamy blonde woods and cool moss linger.
Let’s just say it is heavenly! Thanks Miss Teresa for my newest obsession!

Who Would Have Thought?Posted on October 8th, 2008 @ 5:48 pm
When I was out and about yesterday, I looked at a gas sign, and I was shocked! Under $3.00. OH MY!
Who would have ever thought that I had to call three people when I saw that gas was that low? I remember when it was going up, and we were all cringing at the $3.00 mark, and now I am THRILLED that it is under three.
It still hurt to fill up my car, but not as bad as it did. I think it is just part of the budget now. Sad to say!
I don’t even want to think what it will be when Aaron starts to drive in three years. We might need a job just to pay for his driving habits.

P.S. Here is a fan-tab-u-lous link to check out: office furniture. I really need a new computer desk, but I think I will keep looking until we move, and just have it for the new house. I think my desk can make it another 6-8 months.

Song of the MomentPosted on October 8th, 2008 @ 5:38 pm
Here - Rascal Flatts
There’s a place I’ve been lookin’for
That took me in and out of buildings
Behind windows, walls and doors
And I thought I found it
Couple times, even settled down
And I’d hand around just long enough
To find my way back out
I know now the place that I was trying to
Reach
Was you, right here in front of me
[ CHORUS ]
And I wouldn’t change a thing
I’d walk right back through the rain
Back to every broken heart
On the day that it was breakin’
And I’d relive all the years
And be thankful for the tears
I’ve cried with every stumbled step
That led to you and got
me here, right here
It’s amazing what I let
my heart go through
To get me where it got me
In this moment here with you
And it passed me by
God knows how many times
I was so caught up in holding
What I never thought I’d find
I know now, there’s a million roads
I had to take
To get me in your arms this way
[ Repeat Chorus ]
In a love I never thought
I’d get to get to
-here
And if that’s the road
God made me take to be with you
[ Repeat Chorus ]
And I’d relive all the years
And be thankful for the tears
I’ve cried with every stumbled step
That led to you and got
me here, right here
Oh, baby-Ooo
Oh, got me here
